What truly elevates the experience at Geprek is not just the food but the lively, bustling atmosphere of the food court kiosk setting within Burwood’s Chinatown. i come here monthly because it’s just THAT good… must have for lunch in burwood!!! those who love chicken and spice need to come here highly recommend the sambalado (BRAVE). added an pic of my CLEAN bowl, NO leftovers!!!

Highly recommend the spiciest option! Sooo delicious. Loved watching them smash the fried chicken, that was fun. Cool options for sauces, and they don’t skimp on sauce nor the chicken. Different cuisine options like Japanese mayo, or classic Indo flavours.

The chicken and sauce combo for the salted duck egg flavour was amazing and the chicken was super flavourful and crispy — HOWEVER, the ONE cucumber slice for the whole bowl was absolutely diabolical... i bet you can't even spot it within this picture. No designated seating, may be hard to find a spot to eat when it gets busy.

This has been on my list for so long!! Me and friend had the geprek sambalado (weak!) and we both knew as fans of spicy food we should have gotten the brave one instead. My friend had the Geprek Banjir, and she thoroughly enjoyed it too. It was a Friday night and even then the food was amazing, a bit salty, but overall I would definitely try it again! Loved the service and I’m so happy I asked how spicy it was just to be safe. A MUST VISIT!

Geprek (Indonesian food) food at its best – super yummy and packed with flavor! The portion is generous enough to share between two people, making it perfect for both your taste buds and your wallet. Great taste at a reasonable price – definitely worth it.

The geprek here is super delicious and i highly recommend to anyone that likes spicy chicken with rice. I come here monthly because of how tasty and affordable the food is. 10/10 i ate the whole lot.
